TrusTerra Wins Auto-Tech Startup of the Year and AI Mobility Startup of the Year at ET AutoTech Awards 2026

TrusTerra has won two titles at the ET AutoTech Awards 2026: Auto-Tech Startup of the Year and AI Mobility Startup of the Year, recognising our work of bringing data-led trust to India's used electric vehicle market.

The ET AutoTech Awards, organised by ET Auto, brings together legacy OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, startups, and technology leaders across India's automotive industry. A dual win places us among a small group of companies recognised this year for applying AI to problems that are still unresolved in the real world, not just in pitch decks.

The recognition arrives at a telling moment for the market we operate in. New EV sales in India have climbed steadily for years, but used EV resale penetration has stayed under 2 percent. Petrol cars have decades of resale wisdom behind them, rough rules of thumb about age and mileage that buyers and sellers both understand. EVs have no such shorthand, because their real value sits inside the battery and motor, and their health is invisible unless someone builds the tools to measure it properly.

That gap is what TrusTerra was built to close. Our scoring model, TruEV Score™, evaluates battery health, range consistency, and remaining useful life to produce a standardised rating for any used EV. It works much like a credit score, but for the vehicle itself, giving buyers a number they can trust and sellers a way to prove their EV's true condition. Alongside this, our service TerraCash lets EV owners get their vehicle diagnosed and receive a binding purchase offer with payout within 24 hours.

The market is starting to respond. We have onboarded more than 890 dealers, evaluated over 12,000 used EVs, and facilitated transactions worth crores.
